Easter Seals is proud to offer a toddler class for children with and without special needs. Our specialization in early intervention services assures that your child will receive the highest level of quality programs and services to encourage growth in all areas of development.
Toddler class provides an environment that promotes socialization, development and positive interaction. Your child will attend class twice a week, for two hours at a time. During that time, each child will engage in activities including free play, snack time, group time, and art projects. Other activities are incorporated as well. Each class is structured to promote an awareness of routine. Toddler class is a year-round program offered in Peru, Princeton and Ottawa.
Each class is taught by a Developmental Therapist, credentialed by the State of Illinois. Assistance is provided by two classroom aides. Class size is limited to six children to ensure that each child’s individual needs are being met. Availability is limited, so please register early.
Every child is eligible for toddler class, regardless of whether or not he/she has a disability. Children enrolled in the state’s Early Intervention program are accepted into toddler class upon recommendation of the IFSP team. For self-pay clients, Easter Seals offers a variety of payment options.
We invite you to contact us for more information regarding toddler class or any other quality programs and services we offer.
