Physical Therapy

The goal of the PT department is to enable the children we serve to be as independent as possible in their functional gross motor abilities.

Physical Therapy services include evaluation, individual therapy, summer groups, and community based therapy programs.

In addition, our therapists have expertise in:

• Baby treatment
• Threshold Electrical Stimulation (TES)
• Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation
• Kinesiotaping
• Gait Assessment
• Lite Gait Therapy
• Orthotic Evaluation
• Seating and Positioning
• Spasticity Management
• Club Foot Treatment using the French protocol
• SuitABILITY -- an intense exercise program utilizing the universal exercise unit (the "spider") combined with the therasuit
• We have a staff of 17 experienced physical therapists.  Most of our therapists have earned advanced certification in a variety of treatment approaches, most notably in Neurodevelopmental Treatment.  The expertise and commitment of our staff have been instrumental in establishing our center as a nationally recognized organization for the treatment of children.
