Splinting Clinic

Splinting Clinic is a service provided to enrolled clients of Easter Seals DuPage and the Fox Valley Region. The clinic provides evaluation and fabrication of custom-made devices, usually plastic or neoprene, to support joints or improve movement. If recommended, a series of low-temperature plastic splints or casts may be fabricated to provide stretch to soft tissue tightness at the joints. The splint clinic also provides custom adaptations to adaptive equipment to allow improved grasp or size accommodation.
