Easter Seals DuPage and the Fox Valley Region is proud to announce that in June 2007, Easter Seals DuPage and the Fox Valley Region was accredited by CARF International with the highest distinction. Surveyors commented that in their experience, Easter Seals DuPage and the Fox Valley Region was the best outpatient pediatric therapy clinic in the nation. Other strengths sighted in the survey include: 

• The dedication of the leadership and staff is evidenced in their compassion and caring toward the persons served.
• The satisfaction rating of 95 percent by persons served is outstanding and is validated by comments from persons served, indicating a significant and lasting contribution by staff members in the lives of persons served.
• The stability and tenure of staff members facilitate a consistency in assigned personnel and a continuity of care that is valued by the persons served.
• A holistic approach to care is evident throughout the organization.

In July 2007, Easter Seals DuPage and the Fox Valley Region expanded services into a new facility located at 1323 Bond Street in Naperville, IL.  This location in addition to our current facility in Naperville broadens our ability to bring more support services to this regional center location serving families from Southwestern DuPage, Kane and DeKalb Counties.

About Easter Seals DuPage and the Fox Valley Region
The mission of Easter Seals DuPage and the Fox Valley Region is to enable infants, children, and adults with disabilities to achieve maximum independence and to provide support for the families who love and care for them.

Founded in 1952, Easter Seals DuPage and the Fox Valley Region is one of the largest and most highly regarded pediatric outpatient rehabilitation centers in the Midwest serving more than 3,000 infants, children, and young adults with developmental disabilities each year. Services include physical, occupational, speech-language, medical nutrition and assistive technology therapies.  Additional services include audiology services for all ages, community outreach programs, specialty clinics and an inclusive child development center.

Our inclusive child development center is a special component offering day care and learning experiences for children 6-weeks to 6-years of age. In the center, children with disabilities play and learn right along side their typically developing friends.

We have a staff of over 130 people, including more than 75 therapists, with knowledge, medical expertise and   experience in child development. Through continuing education courses, our staff is continually creating new treatment options to assist children through infancy and beyond.  From a child with multiple special needs, to a child needing assistance in one specific area, we are a valuable resource.
